Can I get back it?huevo5050https://www.blogger.com/profile/18292331515816823103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281031092223895093.post-83039415569052711032017-08-01T00:49:29.264-07:002017-08-01T00:49:29.264-07:00I'm not sure what's up with zsh. It's ...I'm not sure what's up with zsh. It's not packaging, zsh itself disables the modules in the build, so I need to find a way to coerce it to build itself correctly.Peter Tribblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09363446984245451854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281031092223895093.post-87095668961937416482017-07-30T12:01:00.398-07:002017-07-30T12:01:00.398-07:00that's great news.. : )
there's one more ...that's great news.. : )

there's one more small thing - TRIBshell-zsh is broken. the default $MODULE_PATH is set to /usr/lib/zsh/$VERSION but there's nothing there. it was working on m18, so probably just a packaging oversight.casaubonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03457672042692983099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281031092223895093.post-52065067425592465042017-07-30T09:41:06.953-07:002017-07-30T09:41:06.953-07:00Thanks for the feedback.

(Basically we're discouraging all the rpc-based services now.)

The LX stuff will continue. OmniTI may have stepped away, but OmniOS CE have picked up the pieces and are pressing ahead.

http://www.omniosce.org/Peter Tribblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09363446984245451854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5281031092223895093.post-39079978757187973852017-07-30T09:30:28.416-07:002017-07-30T09:30:28.416-07:00`shutdown` seems to be complaining about no '/...`shutdown` seems to be complaining about no '/usr/sbin/wall' - shouldn't that be part of the SUNWcs(u) package?
also there's no way to install the old unix `talk(d)`. but even though we use, it it's a really minor gripe..

lx zones work as expected so far, will have to test more. are you planning on continuing this lx branch now that omnios is pretty much nuked?casaubonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03457672042692983099noreply@blogger.com
