  1. When I try to install the driver for my Nvidia card(1050ti). After setting the setxsession afterstep, and nvidia-xconfig. Xorg closes with a bug. Why? Well for some reason after a reboot. The nvidia module unload automatically. Trying to manually load nvidia module fails.

  2. Which nvidia driver? There isn't one shipped by default, so you're presumably using a 3rd-party one.
Unfortunately, I don't have any nvidia cards to test at all, so anything specific to a given driver is going to be difficult to fix.

  3. Hi, what is the ideal hardware to run Tribblix on for personal use, affordable and smallish?

    1. My personal favourites are something like the Dell Optiplex 7010 or 9020 with an SSD, you can get them pretty cheap on eBay. (For the 9020, disable raid mode in the bios.)
And they come in a range of form factors.

  4. Is there something similar in size to my Mac Mini?

  5. Or a laptop? I’m currently running Solaris 10 on a Fujitsu laptop.

  6. The Dells have an USFF option (Ultra Small Form Factor). It's not quite as compact as a Mac Mini, but it's pretty close.

I've found laptops to be quite frustrating, and have never had much luck. And as the only laptops I now have access to are macbooks, unfortunately I can't test anything.
